Describe Yourself:
My name is Gigi Monet Jackson. I go by my first name of Gigi. Who am I? Well, I’m a little bit English, a little bit Scottish, a little bit Irish, a little bit Dutch, some German, a good bunch and mostly Swedish, deeply rooted with French, (a real American), for the most part an idealist and perfectionist, a bit conservative, both a Romantic and Victorian at heart, Christian by faith, and a whole lot of G.R.I.T.S. (Girl Raised In The South) through and through. Yes, I'm what is said to be a real, down home, “Deep South”, true at heart Southern Belle (a lady) with the spirit and play of a little French Tart (a bit of a tease and flirt). Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia but now living in the Dallas/Ft Worth, Texas area. I believe I was born of the wrong time period/century. My parents and former spouse believed/believe I was born 150 years after my time and most who know me have to agree.
My passion I would have to say is family and people as a whole. I love to be with and spend time with family, relatives, and people both present and past. I love digging into the past for that is where my heart lies. This is why I love genealogy and browsing antique stores. I love to shop, dress up, and to be wined and dined by candlelight and/or the soft glow of a fire from a fireplace. I love to dress in a sexy outfit and dance the night away in heels. Romance is first in my life. Sex come after everything else and is important if I really like the person and want to bond with them. This does not mean necessarily marriage, rather, for the two of us to experience each other to the fullness of what makes us human with nothing hidden, with nothing restrained, no inhibitions, and to carry a part of one another with us for the rest of our life. I love the outdoors when it has to do with bonding with nature and experiencing mother earth herself. I love all wildlife that God created and believe that they have as much right to life as we ourselves. Yes, God says they have souls! They know God as well, maybe better, than we do and I believe they have greater respect for life for all than we do as humans. We should learn from those God has placed under us, like children, rather than abuse them. We were once children, rather we still are!
Who am I, really? In reality, I’m me! A mixture of all you have read above, a blend of all who have come, lived, and gone before this girl. At times very American, at times very human, at times a Southern Mystery, but just a girl at heart, flesh, and spirit and soon to pass on and turn this spot in the world over to another to learn, wonder, and grow! To discover the “Big Picture” that God has laid before each of us. You see, I believe, that each of us are neither female nor male, rather we are both. We are God’s children, and while I believe God is both female and male, God is also neither! God is spirit and he is made up of all of our spirits, which also means we are made up of, from, and part of God. We all reach and extend out from God to do his work just as Jesus came here to do for us. We are all one with God, dependent upon each other for life and not independent as society or the world would have us to believe. The greatest and most magical word/emotion is “LOVE”. This love that comes from God is deep within us all. I pray that my life will be of service to help, inspire, and make the way for another to have it easier in the world, just as those before myself, did for me.
If I could be reborn and could choose who I would be of all those who have lived and living it would be one of two; Jenny Lind "The Swedish Nightingale" or Sarah Brightman "The Angel of Music". If I could choose the time period I would have loved to lived in it would be the late 1800's and early 1900's when God, church bells, family, 2 story homes, white picket fences, horse drawn carriages, and Sunday picnics in the park after church was the life of the time.
